A recent cool feature in Notes is the ability to save messages as EML files on your preferred storage. This feature can be used as a backup feature or as documentation in legal cases, where all information of the mail is needed. The files is saved in the industry standard format EML (a plain text representation of mail message in MIME format). To save messages as eml files you simply drag and drop the message(s) to the desired folder.
To meet the company concerns about mails getting into the wrong hands through this feature, administrators can disable this through the build in policies.
The EML files can be opened in any mail client that accepts the EML standard.
Introduced: Version 8.5.2

Nice to see that they adopted yet another feature of the OpenNTF Mail Experience template
